Name: Emir Parkreiner/Garcian Smith

Age: 33 (Despite living beyond an age of 33 years, this age seems to be permanent)

Series: Killer 7

Personality: Garcian is a cold, professional individual. When he does speak, it's rare that it isn't important. He is not, however, completely unfeeling - he just strictly separates work and himself. He is always absolutely focused on what is at hand.

Background: (This is a mix of the video game, and the background book 'Hand In Killer 7') Garcian's history is complicated, to say the least. His first life was as Emir Parkreiner, born in 1942. In 1955, at the Union Hotel, he killed the Smith Syndicate - a group of 7 assassins, the top in the world. There was one problem: One of them was Harman Smith, who Emir thought was the same Harman Smith who had been Principal at the school he went to, Coburn Elementary. Unable to deal with himself for what he had done, Emir took his own life on the rooftop of the Hotel.

Sometime later, Emir was absorbed by Harman Smith into the Smith syndicate. Emir developed an alternate personality to deal with what he had done, by the name of Garcian Smith. A 33 year old man in the employ of Harman Smith. Garcian also had two new extraordinary abilities: To transform into the rest of the Smith Syndicate at will, and, if any of them died, he was also able to bring them back to life.

Garcian's main job over the last few years involved dealing with Heaven Smile, a demon of sorts created by Kun Lan. These monsters were something like a suicide bomber. They always announced their arrival with a maniacal laugh, after which, they'd run up to their target, and explode on them. The Killer 7, as the Smith Syndicate was called, was routinely hired by the United States Government and others to deal with the Heaven Smile threat, or to assassinate some business or political figure.

Eventually, Garcian realized the truth of what he had done, and that he was not actually Garcian Smith - that this was just a facade invented by his past life. Once he deals with this truth, he becomes Emir once again, temporarily losing the ability to transform into the rest of the Killer 7.

Garcian/Emir finally kills the last Heaven Smile, in the (inexplicable) basement of his mobile home. With this, he has 'killed the past' that had held back who and what he was.

Powers: As Garcian, he possesses the ability to transform into the rest of the Killer 7, not only in body, but in personality as well. This is called 'MULTIFOLIATE PERSONAE PHENOMENON', and Garcian has this power due to being absorbed by Harman Smith, who has the ability himself. Garcian can also bring any member of the Killer 7 back to life. Since becoming Emir once more, Garcian has been cut off from these abilities. However, when the situation demands it, the Multifoliate Personae Phenomenon will awaken again, and Emir will be able to call upon the abilities of the Killer 7.

Garcian has since regained the abilities of the Multifoliate Personae Phenomenon.

Discedo History

Emir is currently using the name of 'Garcian Smith' once more, out of what seems to be nothing but simple convenience. Unlike the majority of others, he does not stay with any grouping, be they at the apartment buildings, or at the police station. He also does not, as of yet, form much of anything that could be called an 'alliance'. He is currently operating on his own, looking to find the secrets of Discedo, and in a way, 'kill the past' once more. He's shown himself to be extremely capable, having gone into the hospital without recieving so much as a scratch.

Garcian has since become something of a cornerstone of the city of Discedo, despite the fact that most people don't meet him personally. He catalogs information on what has happened in the city, as well as the monsters and beasts that roam about, and makes it available for all to read, answering many questions at once about the place. He holds some information back, however, waiting until more opportune times to divulge it. A few, the teens particularly, want to help him find the answers, but Garcian is very selective on who may come with him. His first and only choice so far has been Zexion.

Relationships

Harry Mason - Garcian gives Harry supplies and information that he finds, as he is in the best position to distribute either. Garcian is now someone Harry trusts with sensitive information, despite the fact that the two never meet face to face. Garcian is usually made aware of threats in Discedo, as he is in a good position to eliminate them.

Leon Kennedy - Garcian warns him to stay out of the riskier areas of Discedo, as Leon has demonstrated a tendency to run into things head on. Garcian's skills and weaponry seem to fascinate Leon, as Garcian tends not to give very direct answers to his questions.

Zexion - Garcian's closest ally in Discedo. Chosen for his intelligence and his sense of smell, Garcian picked out Zexion to be directly involved with his investigations of Discedo, finding information, processing it, and looking for the answers to this world, as well as locating the group. They also look for ways the city could be improved on, made healthier and safer, and deal with threats that come up.

Yorda - A young girl who seems to consider Garcian a fond friend, speaking with him often over the communicators. Garcian encourages her to keep learning, as information is more valuable than power.

Simon Tam - A doctor in Discedo, and another person who trusts Garcian with sensitive information, built from Garcian bringing back patient information from the hospital.

L - A strange sort of alliance has been made with this man. Garcian learned much about the world of 'Death Note' through one man named Gintoki, who learned about it through manga. As such, Garcian is highly aware of L's intelligence, and sought to form a mutually beneficial partnership. He appeared to him through the use of the persona Kevin, explained some of what he knew, and they made an agreement - Garcian and his group would be eyes and ears for L. In trade, he'd process the information Garcian and his group brought him and share his analysis. L doesn't know yet that the 6 persona are not separate people all existing at the same time, individually, in Discedo.

Inventory

P230 Silenced Pistol - Garcian's standard weapon. It's not terribly powerful, but it was perfect for quick and silent assassination jobs.

The Golden Gun - Emir's original weapon of choice. Immensely powerful, almost a completely 'one shot, one kill' deal. Garcian tends to make this his primary weapon now, as it cuts down on ammo waste.

The Suitcase - An incredibly sturdy suitcase. Garcian uses it to carry weapons and other supplies. If necessary, Garcian can use it as an up close weapon.

Colt Python Revolver - Dan Smith's weapon, carried in the suitcase. Packs a huge kick.

AMT Hardballer - Kaede Smith's weapon, carried in the suitcase. A pistol with a far-reaching scope attached to the top of it, allowing for sniper shots.

Dual Automatics - Con Smith's weapon, carried in the suitcase. Accuracy is a problem, but the speed of these weapons make up for it.

Enfield Revolver - Coyote Smith's weapon, carried in the suitcase. Just a little less powerful than the Colt Python.

Dual M79 Grenade Launchers: Mask De Smith's weapon, carried in the suitcase. Has immense destructive power, able to even blow out walls.

Knives (Both throwing and up close): Kevin Smith's weapon, carried in the suitcase. Always razor sharp.

The Device: Gives him access to the network that others use in Discedo.

Rings: Gave Garcian additional abilities, back in the world he came from. Are purely decorative in Discedo.
